1:1 Yoga Sessions 

All sessions take place at my home studio in person or via Zoom. We can work on theory, practice, or both.

My in-person sessions normally involve hands-on adjustments for a personalized movement practice. My background is Ashtanga yoga, spiral movement, active birth preparation and postpartum recovery. I can help you with your practice, offer mentorship and guidance for continuing education.

What days and times are available?

When you click on the kind of 1:1 you are seeking from the list above, you'll see all the availability. Please note that I am normally only available on weekdays. For Group Sessions of Two Hours only, I have some Saturday availability.

What experience am I expected to have prior to booking?

I will take on any level of experience, Ashtanga or no, at any age or level of fitness. I do work hands-on and expect a positive attitude and sense of humour to help our time be mutually enjoyable.

What will we do?

It depends... my approach will always be constraints-led and I'll meet you where you are before figuring out where to start and how far to go. We'll talk about your goals and work on balance, focus, stamina, mobility, and the embodiment of yoga principles.

What if I'm interested in professional mentorship?

We can do that. Book as normal for a 1:1 either in person or here's a link to my online booking calendar if you prefer Zoom.

How far ahead can I book?

I operate a six-month rolling window for all appointments. Get in touch if you want to plan further in advance than that!

How do I confirm my booking?

Your appointment will be confirmed when you make payment. Upon receipt of payment, my appointment system will send us both a confirmation email. Yours will contain all these FAQs as a reminder plus the directions to my house.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Once confirmed, the appointment cannot be rescheduled, so please do make sure you are able to attend the confirmed date and time.

If you need to cancel, I am unable to refund payments. This policy allows me to offer more availability and creates a mutual commitment for our work to remain a priority within busy schedules.

In the unlikely event that I need to cancel (this would only be in case of a childcare catastrophe on my end), I will refund your payment in full.

What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring a yoga mat, sufficient snacks to keep you powered up, lots of water for the drive, plenty of fuel in the tank, a small towel and any change of clothes you might like. I have props on site but if you have a particular prop that suits you best please feel welcome to bring it.

Where are you located?

I live in Longformacus, a remote village in the Scottish Borders, TD11 3NZ. I'll send you precise directions in your confirmation email.

What amenities are nearby?

We live in the Lammermuir Hills and the nearest shops are approx 15-20 minutes away by car. 

How can I get there?

You will need to drive here by car. There is no bus service to Longformacus. The nearest train stations are:

  • Berwick-upon-Tweed
  • Dunbar 

Are there options for accommodation?

There are some lovely Air BnB options very nearby our house in Longformacus and local areas. Here are a few ideas:
